just typed in aaron peeters into google...

came across your maths menu approach to maths.

sounds very interesting baz, good way to teach. you're right kids don't enjoy learning and want to learn as much when it's being shoved down your throat.

that fill in teacher reminds me of mr. hall. "if you fail in your maths exam, you'll fail at life" yeah right.

the teacher mispells

I'm sorry baz, but i just have to point out the fact that you used "know" instead of "now". When writing about mum running away from the police. Looks like you might be the one who needs to go back to school baz?

Nice work.

Blogs looking good guys. And did I read this correctly... Mum joined up? Doesn't she know that the federal police are looking for women over 50 who join blogs with the word 'rambling' in the title?? Geez woman!! Get out know while you still can!

I may have trouble using this site because of the beautiful pictures on it. I will try and rig it up so that posts can be emailed to me.

Those bloody bushfires are absolutely terrible! I emailed school and some of them, well all of them, know someone who has been effected. The kids are raising money to help!

Eritrea is going along well. Settling in well and after 2 and a bit weeks I am finding myself somewhat adjusted to life here. I guess Asmara isn't really Eritrea and the real test will be when I head out to Barentu. On a good note though, Barentu is rather a large town where I can get just about everything.
Got to go, closing time.

Bushfire devastation in Victoria. From the ABC news :"Twenty-five people are confirmed to have died in fires north of Melbourne and this morning there are unconfirmed reports of bodies being found in cars overtaken by the fires in Gippsland in the state's east. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd says the Australian Defence Force stands ready to help after an "appalling" loss of life in the Victorian bushfires."
All this happening around Melbourne, some of it in the very country we travelled thru before New Years. Some say it's worse than Ash Wednesday. Harsh country this place.
Just some different news, the engineering work on the Guinea Alumina Project has come to a grinding halt, project is proceeding with minimal site work, no doubt to appease the Guineans. Most client people have been given the chop, have to find work elsewhere. I have been fortunate enough to be re-assigned to another project with Bechtel... expansion of the Worsley alumina refinery in WA.... might last 6 months to a year.
Tony has sort of moved back here... has moved out twice this week already. His demeanour seems to be a lot better than when he first arrived from NZ... but shit he can be a selfish, self centred dickhead. Who knows, he might wake up some day.
